MetaMind Innovations is the first spin-off company of the University of Western Macedonia, providing Information Technology (IT) solutions and consulting services to businesses, organisations and government agencies with a special emphasis on cybersecurity in critical domains. In particular, MetaMind Innovations was established in Kozani, Greece, in 2021, focusing its activities on the European and Greek markets.
MetaMind Innovations can provide SDN-enabled solutions for critical infrastructures, such as SIEM, intrusion detection and smart honeypots. Despite the short lifetime, MetaMind Innovations is participating in several European Union (EU)-funded projects for innovative Research and Development (R&D) activities, such as ELECTRON, AI4CYBER, TALON and DYNABIC. In the context of DYNABIC, MetaMind Innovations P.C. participates in all the work packages, paying special attention to the validation activities in the corresponding use cases.
